Thank you for participating in the 21st annual High Uintas Hypothermia Classic II! We apologize for an uncooperative Mother Nature. We also apologize for some confusion over results. We will continue to review this issue with the race officials who we hire for the event, the professionals who we contract with to do timing and results for us, and with the UCA.
If you happen to have a blanket or towel from the Wyoming State Hospital or from one of our shuttle buses or vans, please return these items to us. We are missing two very special Girl Scout blankets that were on the Senior Center bus. Thanks for your help with this.
We still have some lost items from the bike race. If you are missing something, please contact us.
Tim Beck is missing his Ksyruim Elite front wheel with a Continental GP Force tire. He has a Ksyruim Equipe front wheel with a Continental Ultra Race tire which is not his. Apparently, someone mistakenly has his front wheel. Please contact us if you have his wheel, so we can effect a switch.
We will answer your emails as promptly as we can. Our post-race efforts are as important to us as our pre-race efforts.
Despite the cold and rainy weather, we think the race was a terrific success. Thanks again for your participation.
DON'T DARE MISS THE 22ND ANNUAL HIGH UINTAS CLASSIC, JUNE 19-20, 2010. WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT YEAR IN THIS LEGENDARY RACE?

Competitive citizen racers competing in the 80 mile Bald Mountain Road Race stage finishing in Evanston will not need a chip. You will receive a finish time as recorded by a USCF official. There has been a policy change where Competive Citizens do not have an option to rent a chip. Our apologies.
Utah Cycling Association (UCA) members have the opportunity to acquire a chip from the UCA.
For those who do not have a chip, you will need to rent a chip on-site at the road race start in Kamas, UT. The cost to rent a chip for the event is $10, payable only with a credit card. This cost is in addition to entry fees.
If you do not return the chip after racing, your credit card will be charged $44.95 for the cost of the chip!
In order to help keep race costs reasonable, the Evanston Cycling Club has not increased entry fees from last year.
Except for the $10 cost to rent a chip, 2009 entry fees are the same as 2008 entry fees. We care about costs!
