Greetings to Club members, those who are considering joining the Club, racers and others.
The Evanston Cycling Club is busy planning our 2006 activities schedule. Starting next week, watch for updates to the High Uintas and Wolverine Ridge XC pages of the website.
Road construction on Highway 150 is complete. This means that the classic 80 mile Bald Mountain road race from Kamas, UT to Evanston, WY will again take place. Remember the 30 mile flats from Bear River Lodge to Evanston? It's back!
The Club is planning for the 2nd annual bike safety poster contest for elementary school kids. Bike education literature has been distributed in Evanston schools and other locations in our community. The Cycling Club is considering a second PEDAL (Promoting Educational Development and Learning) scholarship to a deserving Evanston High School senior who will be pursuing a college education.
Thank you to our continuing sponsors and new sponsors. Club membership is available to anyone. There is a $20 annual membership fee. Receive a Team Evanston t-shirt and Club card.
Please visit the Club ride section of our website. The new Evanston Bike Ride Guide is an educational guide with maps of road and off-road rides. Come to Evanston and ride the guide!
We appreciate your support of the Evanston Cycling Club, our sponsors and our community. Have a safe year.
